  1. Running co-working offices that allow professionals to access private offices, open desks or other spaces within the office (La Jolla co-working office pictured)
  2. Leasing and onsite property management services for clients. 
  3. Receiving grants, clients donations and corporate sponsor donations.

Home Seller

If you can show your home to pre-qualified buyers (buyers that can actually afford to purchase your home) your Rightly realtor will donate their time and commission to you. In other words, our professional representation to sell your home is free-of-charge which includes:  

  • Talk strategy with your realtor.
  • Photo shoot of your home.
  • Your home goes in the MLS, Realtor.com, Zillow, Homes.com, and many more homebuyer sites.
  • All contracts & forms are completed for you.
  • All of your questions are answered.
  • Your home sale is professionally managed from start to finish.

These brokerage services are all you need to successfully sell your home whether it's worth $25,000 or $25,000,000.  If you are unable to provide access for buyers, we can provide paid property management services.

Homebuyer

Getting the keys to the home you desire relies on different strategies depending on your objective. Your Rightly realtor will discuss the options with you to determine the correct path to a successful purchase. Here are some of the options:

1.) Our entire buyer side commission is rebated back to you.  This means you will be receiving a very large check or wire transfer once your purchase is completed and the money is often tax free!  

2.) We allow the listing agent to keep any buyer-side agent commission offered by the seller. This makes your offer suddenly much more attractive to the listing agent and thus more likely to be accepted.

3.) If Rightly is the listing agent, we represent you in a dual agency capacity at no charge and thus the seller may be more flexible in accepting your offer.

If you are not 100% satisfied working with Rightly you can cancel your listing or buyer's agreement with us at any time, for any reason, with no penalty with a single email to us. FACT VS FICTION

As a home seller, it's important to understand that the MLS is what actually sells your home, not your realtor. Whether you use a Rightly realtor or one from another brokerage, if your home is in the MLS and priced right, your home will sell. If you price it too high against competing homes for sale, it probably won't. It's that simple and anything else you may hear from folks within the industry is all smoke and mirrors. The obvious difference of course is Rightly is free to use and other realtors are not. So pay $0 at Rightly or pay a large commission to our competitors for the same results.

Rightly Realty is a DBA of Zero Realty, Inc., (the Organization) a 501(c)(3) non-profit public benefit organization that operates to make housing more affordable for consumers. To accomplish its charitable objectives the Organization:
• Combats high housing costs by providing expensive realtor services to consumers free-of-charge regardless of socioeconomic status.
• Lessens consumer tensions by removing existing barriers in the real estate industry that are deleterious to the consumer.
• Is available to everyone in all 50-states and D.C. regardless of the price or location of the home sale or purchase.
• Uses technology that eliminates realtor bias and discrimination from home sale transactions.
• Support housing advocacy groups to make homeownership more affordable and fair.

Our Story

  • 1998: The core technology now driving Rightly begins as a single family residential appraisal software used by banks and realtors.
  • 2007: The software evolves into an asset-management platform and 50-state real estate brokerage selling  100,000+ single-family properties for Fannie Mae, JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley and others.
  • 2017: The software (now nicknamed SoldBot) is tested as a free consumer platform selling hundreds of homes in ten states.
  • 2022: An acquisition offer for SoldBot is declined by the owners who believe emerging artificial intelligence can transform SoldBot into a true game-changer for consumers.
  • 2026: After AI integration and more testing, SoldBot is provided to Rightly to fulfill its charitable mission.

Industry Issues

The voices of consumers often go unheard from corporate wrongdoing but recent lawsuits by the Department of Justice and law firms representing consumers against big brokerages, NAR and other companies for fixing commission rates have begun to have an impact for consumer rights. Rightly's goal is to fundamentally change the home sale industry by focusing on the needs of our clients' rather than extracting large commissions from them.
